SM Accessories Kids Shopping with Selene

Before I start with my Lipstick Week posts (which I’m currently still concocting), I’d like to share a shopping trip I took with my baby girl, thanks to SM Accessories Kids*. As I’ve mentioned in previous entries, I’m always ecstatic to dress Selene up! Frilly skirts, girly dresses, stylish sandals — did I mention I love having a daughter? The fashion opportunities to cutesy them up are endless!
Of course, she can’t wear legit accessories yet, the only accessory she can sport are headbands. But that didn’t stop us from checking out what the Queen of Shopping Malls has to offer our little girl! Of course, Daddy came along! He wants to be Selene’s shopping buddy from now and until she grows up. Their father-daughter bonding, he says.
A quick summary of our shopping trip after the jump!
A colorful set-up of accessories ranging from kids’ bags and wallets to jewelry and headwear greets us as we entered the SM KIDS section.
We went straight to the hair accessories and found these beautiful flower headbands! Too bad they were big for Selene, as they’re meant for toddlers/kids and not for infants. I still grabbed a few though to stock up for when she’s big enough to wear them already. I think it won’t be too long from now since at 4 months, she’s already wearing 6-9mos and can even fit in 9-12mos. clothing.
This tutu-inspired handbag is just too adorable to pass up on! It’ll definitely match the cute tutu skirts her grandma Gigi and Auntie Meloy bought for her. Not that she’ll need a bag anytime soon or even when she’s a year old but I can see myself putting her toys here for when we go out and head somewhere she might be bored.
Just how cute are these bright little bikinis! I can’t pick which between the yellow ruffled one and the pink floral I like more.
Studded headbands for little girls — a perfect accessory to dress up your school uniforms! I remember having a headband collection when I was little because I cut my own bangs and had to hide the disaster I created.
These furry animal head gear were our best finds!! Although I think the little one was not amused with them. Elephant, lion, tiger and ram — which is the cutest of them all? You tell me.
Random fact — we love these drinks from SM, especially the buko (coconut) shake! And for 30 bucks, you can’t go wrong.
We ended our day with a bowl of ramen from our favorite ramen place, Ukkokei Ramen Ron. Selene was sleeping like a baby in her stroller, tired from “shopping” with Mommy and Daddy. I’ll be sharing our final buys in upcoming Selene posts!
*Disclaimer: SM Accessories gave us gift certificates for this shopping trip. Thank you Dianne Aquinde and the SM Accessories team!
