for Estee Lauder
Today, October 8, is the day this VB x Estee Lauder collection launches in store! I have to say – I haven’t been this excited for an Estee Lauder collection!!!! Probably because they don’t really do collaborations like this as often as MAC does. I’m not a huge Posh Spice fan (I’m more of a Ginger Spice fan back then) but I am a Victoria Beckham fan (in terms of her work). How she handles herself, her business savvy and her eye for design and fashion. When I heard she was collaborating with Estee Lauder for a makeup collection, I was beyond ecstatic. I wanted to see how she’ll translate her fashion sensibilities the makeup and beauty world. For the Philippine launch, the Estee Lauder team invited a few bloggers, editors and celebrities to get to know the VB collection more and how it comes all together through VB’s vision. “Sweaty sexy” is one of VB’s description on this collection.
Estee Lauder’s beautiful Mira Villanueva introducing the collection to us. She’s also wearing the Chilean Sunset lipstick from the collection.
The beautiful spread from Raffles. I have to admit, I kept on coming back here to get seconds. Huhu. The food was really good.
Estee Lauder guest artist Lilian Yeung demonstrates two of the 4 looks that VB created for her collection – each inspired by her favorite cities
The London look – inspired by VB’s signature smokey eye
Used the beautiful bronzer in the collection – Java Sun – for this look. Look at those cheekbones! LOOOOVE
The sunkissed glow Los Angeles look
Liz looking fab, as always!
Jackie trying out one of the Eye Metals in Bitter Clove
Angela also trying out one of the Eye Metals. It’s one of our favorites from the range, you guys!
I tried on the Modern Mercury highlighter on and was amazed by the glow! It’s an EL original that was phased out – but VB asked for it to be reintroduced in her range as she loves it so much.
Victoria Beckham x Estee Lauder collection
Modern Mercury highlighter – no doubt a beautiful piece to have! The glow is real. Check my last photo on this blog set to see it in action.
Eye Ink in Burnt Anise – it’s a liquid eyeshadow that makes smokey eyes a breeze! Also, it’s instant eye foil, no need to wet your eyeshadows for the ‘foiled look’.
The 6-palette eyeshadow is beautiful, too. Love the shades! And especially love the names – all named after SPICES. *wink wink* So clever, VB!
The Eye Metals are innovative pressed gel-cream formula that is a breeze to apply and blend on the lids. So pigmented sans the fallout!
The Morning Aura – a VB favorite – is a primer, moisturizer and illuminator in one. Even David Beckham uses this!
Wearing Chilean Sunset lipstick and Modern Mercury highlighter on the photo above. What do you think? Will you pick up anything from the collection? Everything is available starting today, October 8, at Estee Lauder SM Aura (only!).
