My Love for Green Tea

Since I vowed to lessen my caffeine intake starting a year ago, green tea has been my major substitute to the americanos and macchiatos I’ve guzzled down to stay alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic for years now. I’d list down the benefits of the “supertea” but I might not stop babbling.
But one of the main reasons I like drinking green tea is how it makes me feel calmer, more relaxed to either take on the day ahead or wind down from the long day I’ve just had.
So given that I’m quite the green tea enthusiast – I was very much excited to learn that it has been made available to toothbrush. TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION, you guys. Have you ever imagined tea to be infused with toothbrush? But then I wondered – how would green tea be beneficial to teeth? I mean, how could this ‘elixir’ be of use to overall oral health? You could call me curious.
Oral B
Ultra Thin Green Tea
Okay, curious cats – let’s get into this toothbrush a bit deeper. The new Oral B innovation is infused with real green tea extract in every bristle. Are you just as curious as me as to how exactly this works? Did they just dip the brush head in green tea, color it in light green and voila? N-O-P-E. Oral B claims that each toothbrush undergoes a meticulous 13-step-process just to infuse each bristle with the magical~ stuff. 13! WOW.
So what does green tea contribute to our oral health? Well, it’s simple, you guys. Since green tea has known calming and soothing properties, this toothbrush best benefits those who have sensitive gums – ME! – that bleed when harsh and rough bristles sweep across it. Even the slightest rub makes the gums bleed – ME again!
My experience with the Oral B Green Tea toothbrush is quite the calming one – if you get what I mean. Calm? Get it? The bristles, individually tapered with the softest touch, feel like I’m massaging my gums instead of massacring it like how I used to feel with other brushes. Aside from the relaxing gum care experience, it doesn’t sacrifice deep cleaning as it goes on the thinnest, smallest gaps with its ultra thin bristles.

I’m extremely pleased with this toothbrush! I’ve used quite a few Oral B toothbrushes and have been extremely satisfied with each one – as they cater to different needs. For this Green Tea toothbrush, I would say that it really feels so good on the gums that I even extend my usual brushing time because it feels like my gums and teeth are getting a massage. Ha ha! Plus, I don’t get mini heart attacks anymore every time I see blood on the sink from my gums bleeding. Sorry, TMI. But it’s true!
For those with sensitive gums, this may just be the one for you!

I have not tried any oral b toothbrushes I have only been using colgate brushes. And my gums are really sensitive like yours once in a while I would see blood dripping when I’m not being careful. so this toothbrush would really be perfect to try for me too ^_^
