Benesummer with Benefit
I attended my first Benefit Cosmetics event a month ago (I know, super late post!) for a sneak peek of the summer releases the brand has in store for the Philippines in the months to come. First wave is the much-awaited candy orchid lip and cheek tint, Lollitint (which I reviewed here for Blush Week). Two more summer must-haves will be coming out soon, so if you’re itching to find out what they are… you’ll see a sneak peek of them after the jump! I have to say though… Benefit nails their FUN brand image to a tee. From the quirky product names to the attractive packaging, even down to their events. For this particular one, a hotel ballroom was transformed into one huge carnival complete with dart-the-balloon booths (um is that how you call it?!), stuffed toy prizes and even a titillating, acrobatic display of pole dancing!P.S. – photo heavy post ahead!

BIG EASY
A much-awaited new base product from the brand – and just in time for summer here in the Philippines! Meet Big Easy – a multi-balancing complexion perfector with broad-spectrum SPF 35 sunscreen. In short, a better version of BB creams! It’s more lightweight than the thick, heavy BBs we know and dries to a powder finish sans cake avenue. I’ve worn this to the beach and it lasted me 6 hours before I noticed fading (and that is under sweltering Boracay sun!!). Below are the 5 (out of 6) gorgeous ladies showcasing the different shade ranges of the product. I wear the shade Medium. I believe it’s set to be released this month. Full review soon.

LOLLITINT
One of my favorite releases this summer, Lollitint! I’ve reviewed this beauty over here. It’s a beautiful candy orchid lip and cheek tint bound to be your best friend this summer. Long-wearing, easy-to-use, made for lazy days when you don’t feel like doing your whole routine. Random history tidbit about the first ever tint in the family is included in the review, too!
DREAM SCREEN
And finally, the most apt summer release – Dream Screen – a sunscreen that’s lightweight and dries to a matte finish! I was able to sample this product during the event and I’m impressed – it’s all that I could ever want from a sunscreen. Light, runny, easily blendable and dries to a matte finish sans the ‘sunscreen’ mask! I can’t wait for this to be out here. I’m a sunscreen nut and almost out of my Clarins one, so I’m switching over to Dream Screen once I finish up that bottle.

It looks like you had a lot of fun! I keep thinking I should try one of the tints, but maybe I’ll start with Cha Cha Tint (how typical)!
