The Diorsnow BB Eye Creme aims to deliver brightening, moisturizing and treatment for dark circles, puffiness and dark spots in the eye area. Big promises! For someone like me who has insanely dark circles, this seemed like utopia. Being constantly underwhelmed by other concealers, I didn’t expect that this would deliver on its huge claims either…
Thoughts
The Diorsnow BB Eye Creme gives very sheer coverage as a concealer. But then again, it does not promise complete coverage. My trusty MAC Studio Finish is a thick, matte, pigmented, industrial-strength concealer. This is very much the opposite as it is a slightly thin and moist cream that’s easily blendable. Its brightening promise certainly hits the spot, though. It does illuminate and awaken tired eyes by its impressive light-reflecting properties. As a concealer for completely covering up dark circles and eyebags, this is a 2.5/5. But for its brightening and illuminating properties, I give this a 4.5/5! What I do appreciate also about this product is its SPF factor. As mentioned, I go out most of the time with only sunscreen and concealer on, so a sheer concealer with added SPF specifically for the undereyes excites me. You do know that the eyes tend to be the first to show signs of aging, right? The wrinkles, etc. So with this product, even if you forget to slap on the sunscreen for your face (God forbid), at least your eyes will still be protected! A 5/5 in the added benefits category. Excuse the disgusting eyebrows and bumps. I also only put quite a tiny amount of BB eye cream. If I had put a bit more, this would have turned out better. |

See the light-reflecting properties? Although it’s not fully pigmented, it does such a good job in faking a more awake look. |
OVERALL
I would not recommend this product if you’re on the lookout for a regular or heavy-duty concealer. Certainly, there are cheaper alternatives that can give you both benefits of a concealer — to use for your undereyes and for covering imperfections. My MAC Studio Finish still remains as my go-to for those two jobs. But if you’re looking for something to protect your eyes and a fix to lighten dark circles over time, this may be a good product for you to look into. Try a sample at a local Dior counter first, though. This comes in two shades and I got the darker one. Although I await for its dark-circle reducing properties, I really like its SPF and light-reflecting properties. I seem to grab it more often than my MAC concealer nowadays because I like the natural finish it leaves and I can get away with wearing just sunscreen and this on my lazy days and good-skin-days. Great review again Shari! Your reviews are always honest and interesting to read!
Anyway, I personally prefer not to be bothered by SAs when shopping for stuff. I don’t know, i don’t like push-y SAs and those who follow me like crazy!
But hey, the reverse psychology sure did work for you. Heehee. Maybe the SA isn’t impressed with what you wanted to get or she was just having a bad day. lol

Thanks for the awesome post and advice 🙂 Again, very helpful!
It’s not a bad shade but I think it could be more pigmented and brightening! Not worth the high price tag!
I love our Duty Free! Haha Winner their Chanel lipstick price! <3

I’m so curious now. Think I heard about it but totally forgot after awhile. Sounds perfect; brightening, light, SPF & specifically for under eyes only. What more can we ask for? Thx Shari! I’m following you! xoxo Leanne

I think I’d like this for good skin days although it’s quite pricey. I usually splurge on foundations but not concealers xx
Woah! Never heard of this but it seem interesting…but a little bit expensive for me though… I use the MAC moisture lasting concealer… I used the studio finish first but did not work out for me.I have lines under my eyes and it settles…. 🙁
Thanks for the review, that don’t seems to be something for me…
